Passionate about sharing your knowledge of natural history and biodiversity with a wide array of visitors? Join our volunteer family at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum!

Our Gallery Guiding Programme aims to enrich the Museum experience by training volunteer guides to cater to the diverse needs of our visitors. Through this volunteering programme, we aspire to instil a greater understanding and a lifelong appreciation of our natural world in our volunteers.

Do you enjoy sharing stories of nature, science, and biodiversity with others? The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum is now recruiting both English and Mandarin Chinese Volunteer Guides! 

As a volunteer guide, you will lead guided tours within the Museum and support outreach programmes such as roadshow booths and Coral Walks, engaging visitors of different ages and backgrounds. 

 

Who Can Apply: 

  • Minimum age: 18 years old 
  • Commitment: Minimum one year and at least 5 programmes annually 

 

Compulsory Trainings: 

  • Introduction Training (Zoom): 17 January 2026 (Sat), 10:30 AM–12 PM 
  • In-Gallery Training (choose one): 
    21 January 2026 (Wed) 2:30–4:30 PM 
    24 January 2026 (Sat) 10:30 AM–12:30 PM 

 

Please note that all volunteers will be required to develop their own guided gallery tour script and conduct a mock guided tour for assessment before being accredited as a LKCNHM Volunteer.
