Abstract. Two new species of the genus Trichobalya Weise, 1924 (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Galerucinae), are described: Trichobalya (Paratrichobalya) arcibrunnealis, new species, from Nui Chua National Park in southern Vietnam, and Trichobalya (Paratrichobalya) nigribasalis, new species, from Cat Ba National Park in northern Vietnam. Colour photographs of the habitus and body details of both new species as well as an identification key for all Vietnamese species of the genus Trichobalya are provided.
