Unravel the diversity of Singapore’s fauna in a fun and interactive learning environment through a guided gallery tour and hands-on session! This workshop introduces participants to Singapore’s rich biodiversity by employing Linnaean classification, enabling them to comprehend the wildlife surrounding them. Participants will also gain a better understanding of taxonomy by delving into hierarchical classification and binomial nomenclature and examining real animal specimens, enriching the learning experience.
With a curated selection of animal specimens from different animal groups—including poriferans, cnidarians, echinoderms, arthropods, molluscs, and chordates—participants will gain firsthand insights into the diverse forms and structures of these creatures, fostering a holistic understanding of Singapore’s fascinating fauna. This programme is open to schools only.
