HSBC-sponsored marine conservation workshops

POSTED ON BY Aw Jeanice

We are pleased to offer three complimentary workshops at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM)!

Generously sponsored by the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC), these marine conservation themed workshops are organised under the Marine Protection Programme.

For three engaging hours, you can enjoy a guided tour around our galleries, hands-on activities and a marine ecology card game conducted by LKCNHM education officers and HSBC staff volunteers.

Best of all, both admission and workshop tickets are free-of-charge, so all you have to do is register!

Details on the Marine Protection Programme workshops

The programme will highlight the findings of studies on our sperm whale specimen, and conservation issues related to its discovery. We hope participants will walk away with a better understanding of the environment, as well as the natural history of Singapore and Southeast Asia.

UPDATE: Due to Singapore’s transition back to Phase Two, the workshop on 22 May 2021 will be rescheduled. An email with more information will be sent to affected registrants.

Dates: 10 April, 24 April or 22 May 2021, Saturday

Time: 10 am to 1 pm
