JOB OPPORTUNITY: Executive/Senior Executive (Procurement, HR, Donor stewardship) (1 year contract-renewable) POSTED ON October 29, 2018 BY Clarisse Tan The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) is Singapore’s only natural history museum at the National University of Singapore. We are looking for a self-motivated and hands-on individual to assist in Procurement, Human Resource, and donor related matters. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for procurement in the department To serve as department buyer in e-procurement system To handle the entire procurement lifecycle and provide advice to requestors. This would include request, evaluation and report writing, award and contract management Handle Human Resource related matters Provide end-to-end administrative support in Human Resource matters, including assisting with selection, recruitment, on-boarding, extension, and off-boarding of Full time and Part Time staff To handle HR related matters of Full time Staff, such as Annual Staff appraisals, Annual Staff Declarations, etc. To serve as department leave clerk Responsible for donor related matters To process gifts made to the museum on a timely basis and that all guidelines, policies and procedures pertaining to the processing and receipting of donations are met, thereby ensuring financial integrity and accuracy Preparing of collection reports for donations, necessary documentation, and following up with donation pledge schedules To help in planning, logistics, and execution of donor related events To keep abreast of changes in relevant policies and work processes in the organisation and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance Proactively identify and recommend ways to enhance work processes for improved performance and translate them into plans and actions. To assist the Administrative Manager in duties relating to the LKCNHM Office to ensure smooth daily operations Any other duties as assigned Requirements: – Qualification A Bachelor’s degree related to Business/Administration/Accounting or equivalent, preferred Years of Experience At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement in public sector services and/or HR matters Knowledge & Skills Competent in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook) and SAP Able to work independently, possess good problem solving skills, resourceful, and crisis management skills Excellent interpersonal skills, even temperament, ability to supervise effectively Possess ability to effectively and professionally communicate at all levels, both verbal and written wise Demonstrates strong leadership, organizational and management skills Demonstrates ability to handle fast-paced environment with many unpredictable developments and rapid change Meticulous approach to carrying out tasks and possess a positive work attitude A valid Singapore driver’s license will be an advantage Interested candidates please apply here: https://nuscareers.taleo.net/careersection/jobdetail.ftl?job=0095L&lang=en Application will end on 26th Nov 2018.
